Rugby:George Clancy will take charge of the plum tie between Harlequins and Toulouse when the Heineken Cup resumes next weekend. The Limerick official will officiate at the Stoop when the English and French league leaders meet in Pool Six.

Alain Rolland and John Lacey will also be on European duty, Rolland handling Clermont Auvergne and Leicester Tigers while Lacey will take charge of another Anglo-French clash when Castres meet Northampton. Peter Fitzgibbon will handle the clash of Biarritz Olympique and Benetton Treviso

Munster’s favourite Frenchman, Romain Poite, will be on duty for the first of the province’s double-headers against the Scarlets while Jerome Garces will be the man in the middle when defending champions Leinster travel to Bath.
