Leinster 'A' 20 Ulster 'A' 31:Left wing Chris Cochrane scored two tries as Ulster's second-string gained a measure of revenge for their senior colleagues' loss in the Magners League after they beat their Leinster counterparts at Donnybrook this afternoon.
Cochrane got the visitors off to a flyer with his first try coming in just the second minute, with Niall O'Connor adding the extras.
A superb break from hooker Jason Harris-Wright set off a move leading to Leinster's first try five minutes later. Centre Fergus McFadden was held up short of the line, only for scrum-half Paul O'Donoghue to dart over from the ensuing ruck to leave two points between the sides.
O'Connor pushed Ulster further clear with two penalties, before McFadden made no mistake second time around as he capitalised on a Niall Morris kick to dot down three minutes before the break.
Jonathan Sexton failed with the conversion and Cochrane was again on hand on the stroke of half-time to push Ulster ahead. O'Connor added the conversion, while McFadden was on target with an injury time penalty to leave his side seven adrift (13-20) at the interval.
Leinster were level just two minutes after the restart, when secondrow Mark Flanagan got over for a try for McFadden to convert.
But there was to be no repeat of the late heroics seen at Ravenhill on Saturday as Ulster took control of the game. O'Connor added two more penalties for a personal tally of 16 points, with centre Ian Whiten sealing the result with a try in the 55th minute.
