Treviso 23 Connacht 3: Connacht's losing streak continued in Italy where they were outgunned by Treviso without too much difficulty.

For the first time this season, the westerners failed to register a try on what was a disappointing night in the Venetian rugby outpost.

Dan Parks kicked their only points of the evening as the Benetton backed Italians outscored theirguests two tries to zero.

For Treviso, Alessandro Zanni and Luca Morisi were both touched down whilst Alberto di Bernardo and Tobias Botes kicked the rest of their points.

Connacht’s cause wasn’t helped when they lost centre Eoin Griffin just before kick-off, with Brian Murphy stepping in as an 11th-hour replacement. To make matters worse, they lost prop Ronan Loughney in the 27th minute while his replacement, Nathan White, lasted only five minutes before following him off the field.
