Ulster coach Matt Williams has called upon his former Leinster stalwart Reggie Corrigan to work with the squad one day a week on scrummaging techniques.

Corrigan won over 130 caps for Leinster and worked under Williams when he was head coach of the province.  Corrigan's role with the Ulster squad will be to lead scrum clinics with the forwards one day week on a consultancy basis.

"First of all I am delighted to be involved with Ulster Rugby," said Corrigan, who was also capped 47 times for Ireland and played in the 1999 and 2003 World Cups. He played his last international against France in the 2006 Six Nations.

"I have worked with and played alongside a lot of the Ulster guys in the past. I feel very excited about what can be achieved here at Ulster and the players are keen to turn things around and learn and hopefully I can be part of that."
