Fresh from his recall to the Ireland squad Leo Cullen will this weekend make his 50th appearance in the Heineken European Cup alongside international teammate Malcolm O'Kelly and against his former club Leicester.
Cullen was capped 12 times in Europe's top competition with the Tigers and 37 with Leinster thus far, but even a win at Welford Road on Saturday looks unlikely to afford the Blackrock College man an opportunity to add to that tally this year.
Leinster need to beat Leicester - who they lead in pool six by two points - and they are counting on Edinburgh travelling to Toulouse and turning over one of Europe's top sides on their own turf.
Coach Michael Cheika has undoubtedly picked a side that can uphold their end of the bargain, with Guy Easterby's return to scrumhalf the only change from the 20-13 win over Toulouse last weekend.
Easterby will be making his final appearance for the Lions after a short-term move from English national league two club Otley was prompted by the fractured ankle sustained by Australian Chris Whitaker in Toulouse on November 18th.
The former Ireland international will feed Felipe Contepomi and the Argentinean will have Gordon D'Arcy and captain Brian O'Driscoll outside him, Girvan Dempsey at fullback and youth on the wings in the shape of Rob Kearney and Luke Fitzgerald.
There has been a minor modification in the forwards, with Stephen Keogh replacing Keith Gleeson in the backrow to allow Shane Jennings move to openside.
Gleeson, who along with Jennings was again overlooked coach Eddie O'Sullivan, will be on the bench with the latest additions to the Ireland squad prop Cian Healy and outhalf Jonathan Sexton.
Cheika has yet to decide between hookers Brian Blaney and Gary Brown on the bench.
Leicester, who have no hope of qualifcation, are without injured quintet Martin Corry, Lewis Moody, Tom Croft, Aaron Mauger and Dan Hipkiss. Ireland's Geordan Murphy starts at fullback.
Toulouse need only win to qualify. If they draw while securing two bonus points and Leinster win with a bonus, the French side will still go through.
