Rugby:While Brian O'Driscoll appears to have fully recovered from the knee injury that threatened his participation in Cardiff last weekend, Gordon D'Arcy has emerged as an injury doubt for the Magners League final in Limerick on Saturday.
Leinster, bidding to become just the fourth side to complete a European and domestic double after their stunning success at the Millennium Stadium, were back on the paddock this morning as they prepare to face Munster at Thomond Park. But D’Arcy, with his foot in a protective boot, was forced to sit out the session as he nurses an ankle injury.
Isaac Boss, who is still being troubled by a tight hamstring, was another absentee while Sean O’Brien and Nathan Hines only took a limited part in training as they recover from the bruising Heineken Cup final win over Northampton. Both O’Brien and Hines are expected to be fine come the weekend.
Nigel Owens, meanwhile, has been named as the referee for Saturday’s match. Fellow Welsh officials Tim Hayes and David Jones will run the line.
