RUGBY:Ulster skipper Rory Best will sit out Saturday's Magners League clash against Munster, with former Ireland flanker Kieron Dawson leading the side at Thomond Park.
Ulster coach Matt Williams named a 25-man squad for the game and is staying positive despite a raft of injuries that have hit the province. Flanker Thomas Anderson is the latest to join the list after picking up a knee injury.
With Carol del Fava and Ryan Caldwell also missing, it leaves Williams short of cover in the back five of the pack.
"We've been unlucky in that we've had a number of longer term injuries this season and our match against Llanelli away in the Heineken Cup was particularly bruising, but it happens to everyone and it's just our turn," remarked Williams.
Despite the disappointment of losing to Leinster at Ravenhill last weekend, Williams believes his side can give Munster a good game on Saturday.
"If we go down to Munster, tackle our hearts out and stay within 10 points then we have every chance.
"We're playing the leaders but this is a really healthy competition. Everyone is alive and fighting, the top teams beat the bottom teams and the bottom teams beat the top teams, it's a very close and competitive league."
