The odds of Anthony Foley being involved in another European Cup final lengthened today after he was named captain for Munster's last Magner's Celtic League match of the season against Glasgow Warriors.

Foley, who has over 200 appearances to his name, was omitted from the semi-final squad that beat Saracens and again left out of a very strong squad that narrowly saw off Llanelli Scarlets at the weekend.  His inclusion as captain for the Musgrave Park clash hints at an emotional farewell for the Munster legend.

Declan Kidney has opted for strength in depth again as he looks to hone the gameplan ahead of the May 24th final against Toulouse in Cardiff.

Despite Foley being given the armband, Paul O'Connell is in the squad, as is young back Keith Earls.

With little at stake in the league, Munster's sights are firmly set on the Millennium Stadium but defeat is no preparation for such a game.

Of course, the game will also be Kidney's farewell to a home crowd before he takes charge of the national side.  The ovation for both he and Foley on Saturday is likely to surpass even the Munster fans' standards.
