South Africa winger Bryan Habana has been cited following an incident during France’s win over the Springboks last Friday night.
The former world player of the year appeared to aim a kick at France’s Francois Trinh-Duc towards the end of the first half, although in truth contact appeared minimal.
Nevertheless, Habana has been summoned to a disciplinary hearing on Wednesday.
It would require a sanction in excess of two weeks, which is unlikely given the nature of the offence, to preclude him from playing against Ireland when the Springboks come to Croke Park on Saturday week.
