Wales centre Gavin Henson will be prosecuted for public order offences following a disturbance on a London to Cardiff train earlier this month, British Transport Police said today.
Henson, 25, and three other men, have been summonsed to Cardiff
magistrates court and are expected to appear in January, police
said.
Police said officers at Cardiff Central railway station were
called on the evening of December 2nd in response to complaints
about a group of men causing a disturbance on a train coming from
London.
Ospreys player Henson, boyfriend of Welsh singer and
television presenter Charlotte Church, had earlier scored 19 points
in his club's victory over London side Harlequins.
Henson, who played in his country's 2005 Six Nations Grand
Slam, suffered a broken hand in the Harlequins game that has
sidelined him for four to six weeks.
