David Humphreys will put the speculation regarding his international career to the back of his mind this Friday having been named in the Ulster side to face Edinburgh.
The Ireland outhalf, who is expected to call time on his Test career at the end of the current Six Nations campaign, is one of four Ireland internationals called upon by coach Mark McCall for the match at Murrayfield.
Simon Best, Andrew Trimble, and Rory Best have also been named in the starting line-up while Tommy Bowe was not released by the Irish team management for the trip to Scotland.
Ulster, currently fourth in the standings, have the opportunity to go top, for 24 hours at least, with a win tomorrow night as Leinster and Munster are not in action until Saturday.
