The IRFU have warned supporters not to buy tickets for Ireland's Six Nations game against France on February 14th from unofficial sellers after a batch of 144 tickets were lost in transit to clubs.

The Valentine’s Day encounter is a sell-out and the IRFU will now cancel the missing tickets and re-issue them to the clubs.

In a brief statement, the IRFU advised that “any person arriving at the Aviva with a cancelled ticket will not gain entry to the stadium”.

It also confirmed that An Post has launched an investigation into the issue “as a matter of urgency”.
