Rugby: Leinster are hopeful Gordon D'Arcy will be available for selection for Friday night's Heineken Cup round six clash against Racing Métro 92 at the Stade Yves du Manoir (8pm Irish time).
The centre injured his calf muscle in the captain’s run ahead of the win over Saracens last weekend and he and number eight Jamie Heaslip will be closely watched in the run up to the game.
An ankle injury kept Heaslip out of the 43-20 win that secured qualification for the quarter-finals, but otherwise there were no fresh injury concerns.
Try scorers Dominic Ryan, Seán O’Brien, Fergus McFadden, Isa Nacewa and Eoin O’Malley are all available to travel to Paris, as is Jonathan Sexton after his 13-point haul on Saturday.
Ulster also have injury concerns ahead of their trip to Aironi where the prize of a quarter-final berth is very much within their grasp. Frontrowers BJ Botha (elbow) and Rory Best (ribs) were both forced from the field during the win over Biarritz on Saturday.
Botha was due to have scans on the injury today while Best is receiving treatment from the Ulster medical team. A decision on their availability will be made later in the week.
