France have postponed from the team announcement of their starting line-up for the Six Nations match against Ireland from tomorrow morning until Wednesday to allow for further analysis of yesterday's win over Scotland.
"The decision has been taken to enable the coaches to stand back in order to assess the game against Scotland and make a detailed video analysis," team spokesman Lionel Rossigneux announced.
Earlier in the day, coach Marc Lievremont told journalists in
Edinburgh he had decided to keep faith with the 22-player
squad that defeated the Scot 27-6 at Murrayfield.
"We saw no reason to make changes. That does not mean the same 15 players will start the Ireland match," he told a news conference.
All the players were declared fit to play, including scrumhalf
Jean-Baptiste Elissalde, who sustained a minor ankle
injury.
"I'm satisfied with the team's performance, even more since I watched the video of the match," Lievremont added.
Centre David Marty and prop Nicolas Mas are retained after replacing injured duo Florian Fritz (fractured fibula) and Jean-Baptiste Poux (thigh) respectively in the squad midway through last week.
Centre Yannick Jauzion is back from injury and has played in Toulouse's last two Top 14 games, but he cannot force his way into coach Lievremont's plans.
