Munster and Leinster will kick off their Magners Celtic League campaigns in their new homes on the weekend of the 21st - 23rd of September, it was confirmed this afternoon.

Munster open their season with a home tie against Llanelli. All of the provinces home matches will be hosted at Musgrave Park due to the redevelopment work taking place at Thomond Park.

Leinster, who narrowly missed out on the title in the last two campaigns, will take on Edinburgh at a refurbished RDS which will have 19,000 seats compared to the current capacity at Donnybrook, which holds around 6,000 spectators.

Ulster will host the defending champions Ospreys while Connacht take on the Newport Gwent Dragons at the Sportsground.

There will also be four all-Welsh clashes before this date to avoid sides having to play midweek fixtures later in this Rugby World Cup season.

The league will conclude with final round being played on the weekend of May 10th, and, as in previous years, the fixtures have been scheduled so as to avoid a clash with the Six Nations Championship.
