Six Nations:Italy coach Nick Mallett has made six changes for their final Six Nations match away to Scotland on Saturday despite the stunning win over France in Rome last weekend.
Mallett continues to assess his options for the World Cup in September and October with little room for sentiment for the underdogs who shocked champions France 22-21 in Rome.
Alberto Sgarbi comes in at centre for Gonzalo Garcia, Kristopher Burton returns at outhalf in place of Luciano Orquera while flanker Paul Derbyshire makes his first start of the tournament with Robert Barbieri dropping to the bench.
Quintin Geldenhuys is back in the secondrow with hooker Leonardo Ghiraldini and prop Salvatore Perugini, who will earn his 80th cap, also returning.
Italy will avoid the wooden spoon if they beat or draw with Scotland who have yet to earn a point.
