Team News: Ulster coach Mark McCall had the luxury of naming an unchanged side from that which defeated Munster earlier this month ahead of their Celtic League clash against Newport Gwent Dragons at Ravenhill on Saturday.
On the down side Irish international Andrew Trimble had a late fitness test today - after sustaining a knee injury during Ireland's Six Nations win over England last weekend - and will not be available for selection.
Connacht coach Michael Bradley must wait on a late fitness update on centre Keith Matthews but the good news is prop Stephen Knoop and winger Conor McPhillips have both been passed fit to play against the Borders.
Matthews injured his quad muscle against Leinster, the same game in which John Hearty broke his jaw.
Knoop has recovered from an ankle injury he picked up in January while McPhillips is back after a groin injury that kept him out of the Leinster game. Bradley will name his team tomorrow ahead of Friday night's fixture at Netherdale (7.30pm). Kick-off in Belfast on Saturday is 3.30pm.
