Rugby:Ulster coach Brian McLaughlin may have named an extended 31-man squad for Friday's Magners League game against the Dragons but he is still without a number of his front line players.
Irish Internationals Rory Best, Andrew Trimble, Tom Court and Paddy Wallace remain unavailable ahead of Ireland’s final Six Nations match against England in Dublin on Saturday, while Ian Humphreys is still sidelined with a hamstring injury.
BJ Botha and Stephen Ferris continue their rehabilitation from elbow and knee injuries respectively. On a more positive note Dan Tuohy is included in the extended squad and could feature after recovering from a quad tear.
The game was originally due to be played at the beginning of December but fell foul to frosty weather conditions. Tickets issued for the December match are valid for Friday night’s game (kick-off 7.05pm).
Ulster currently occupy fifth place in the standings and still hold ambitions of making it into one of the play-off spots.
