Scrumhalf Conor McPhillips will take to the field with Connacht for 100th time tomorrow, when they get their Magner's League campaign underway against Newport Gwent Dragons at the Sportsground.
McPhillips has been with the province since 2003 and is their all-time top try-scorer with 29 in four seasons. He switched from the wing to scrumhalf at the end of last season.
Three players, tighthead prop Robbie Morris, wing Ofisa Treviranus and outhalf Tim Donnelly, will make their Connacht debuts against the Dragons.
Meanwhile, Llanelli Scarlets have named two debutants in their team to face Munster on Saturday.
Outhalf Rhys Priestland will make line-out for the first time at Musgrave Park, with regular number 10 Ceiron Thomas ruled out with a knee injury. Tighthead prop Bruce Douglas is also a newcomer to the side.
"It's disappointing to lose Ceiron for a couple of weeks but this is an exciting opportunity for Rhys," Scarlets Director of Rugby, Phil Davies, told the club's official site.
"We always knew our squad was small compared to others but I have no qualms about putting Rhys in. He's only 20 years old but with Jon Davies, Lou Reed (both 19), and Ken Owens who is also only 20, we are building something special here at Stradey Park."
