Leinster A 22 Munster A 17

Hugh Hogan’s Leinster were almost caught out by Munster after building a 22-3 lead by the 49th minute in Wednesday’s A Interprovincial match at Donnybrook.

It was all going to plan for the home side as full-back Billy Dardis, wing Mick McGrath and lock Tom Denton picked up tries.

The momentum swung back towards Munster when number right Shane Buckley crashed over and wing Stephen Fitzgerald claimed an intercept, leaving Leinster clinging on in defence to close out the win.
