Munster have this morning confirmed the signing of number eight Nick Williams from the Auckland Blues, providing the player passes a medical and obtains a work permit.
It is hoped the 24-year-old will join the European champions in November after the end of the Super 14 season.
The Samoan-born backrow has played in 12 of the Blues' 13 league games this season and scored against the Lions in Ellis Park and the Crusaders in Christchurch.
He has made 37 Super 12 appearances since his debut against the Highlanders in 2005 and has scored four tries in total.
