Declan Kidney took his European Cup final squad on its penultimate training session this afternoon, but the Munster coach still has a some injury concerns ahead of Sunday's final against Biarritz in Cardiff.

Fullback Christian Cullen and Mike Mullins are definite non-starters for the province.

Cullen's luck has gone from bad to worse since joining Munster. After enduring a second shoulder operation, the New Zealander then suffered hamstring and ankle injuries on his return.

His fellow countryman Mullins is another long-term struggler and will definitely not play.

Concerns still remain over John Kelly, who, if fit, will partner Trevor Halstead in the centre. The former Ireland wing has a bruised shoulder but took part in training today.

If Kelly is absent on Sunday the likelihood is that former Lions centre Rob Henderson will be drafted in.

Most worryingly perhaps, are the injuries in the pack, in which captain Paul O'Connell and Marcus Horan are the main concerns.

Despite training today Ireland prop Horan is still hampered by a calf muscle injury, while O'Connell, the driving force behind the Munster pack is faring much better.

Munster have their final training session which will take behind closed doors in Limerick on Thursday and they leave for Cardiff on Friday morning from Shannon airport.

Teams will be announced at a joint press conference on early on Saturday afternoon.
