Geordan Murphy has been passed fit to take his place at fullback against England at Twickenham on Saturday.
Murphy, who missed the defeat to Wales having picked up an Achilles injury on club duty, was put through his paces during the Ireland training session earlier today.
"Murphy underwent a fitness test on his Achilles injury today during the Ireland training session in UCD," confirmed an IRFU statement this evening. "He came through the test and has been passed fit to take his place in the team to play England on Saturday."
Murphy, initially dropped following Ireland's loss in Paris, was named man of the match in the 34-13 victory over Scotland having come in for the injured Girvan Dempsey.
