Rugby:Next season's Magners League campaign will get under way at the start of September and will be played over six of the eight weeks set aside for the Rugby World Cup in New Zealand.

A break will accommodate the semi-finals, third and fourth play-off and World Cup final before Celtic League fixtures resume on October 29th.

Two more weekends of Magners League action will take place before the Heineken Cup and Amlin Challenge Cup pool matches begin in November and a further four rounds of matches during the seven week stretch of the Six Nations Championship.

The Magners League semi-finals and final will be played on the weekends of May 12th and May 26th respectively.
