Munster coach Tony McGahan has made a raft of changes and given the armband to lock Mick O'Driscoll ahead of tomorrow's trip to Ravenhill for the Magners League meeting with Ulster.
With the province coming of the back of Heineken Cup victories and a punishing game against Leinster the coach has opted to rest many of his frontliners.
Denis Hurley is recalled to full-back and wing Anthony Horgan also returns to the back three Ian Dowling on the blindside.
Ronan O'Gara and Tomás O'Leary are rested and replaced by Paul Warwick and Peter Stringer in the half-backs.
Donnacha Ryan partners O'Driscoll in the second row, while Denis Fogarty and Federico Pucciarello return to the front row.
Ulster welcome back Stephen Ferris from injury. The Ireland back row returns tomorrow at the expense of Matt McCullough, while Ed O'Donoghue replaces lock Carlo Del Fava who drops to the bench.
Thomas Anderson, son of Ulster legend Willie, is named among the replacements.
Matt Williams has avoided tinkering with the backline but Mark McCrea comes on to the bench for the first time this season.
