Glasgow Warriors have announced that their Guinness Pro 12 game with Ulster at Scotstoun on Saturday has sold out in record time and that a crowd of 10,000 will provide the Scottish club with their biggest home crowd for a regular season game.
Ulster are a point behind the trio of Glasgow, Ospreys and Munster ahead of the final round of fixtures, which all kick-off at 3.0pm.
To gain a home semi-final, Neil Doak’s side need to beat Glasgow and hope either Ospreys or Munster lose their final games.
Last season 10,000 watched Glasgow’s home play-off match with Munster and 7,240 supporters turned up to watch the win over Cardiff Blues last month.
Glasgow Warriors managing director Nathan Bombrys said: "We appreciate the fantastic support that has seen our match against Ulster sell out in record time. This will be our biggest crowd ever for a regular season home game.
“Our average attendance at Scotstoun this season is now nearly 6,400 and we would like to thank our supporters for their tremendous support all season, and look forward to an excellent atmosphere for this crucial game against Ulster.”
