Leinster backrow Shane Jennings has been ruled out of action for three to four weeks with a hamstring injury.

The flanker picked up the injury in the second half of the 10-9 defeat to Connacht at the Sportsground on Friday.

“Everyone else came through the game relatively injury free apart from a few minor bumps and bruises,” the province confirmed this evening.

"There was positive news with regard to Dave Kearney, who continues to rehabilitate from his knee injury. Dave took to the pitch yesterday for the first time and is making good progress although he is still some weeks away from joining the rest of the squad."
