Rugby: The Ireland Under-20 team coach, Mike Ruddock has named an unchanged Irish side to face France in their final game of the IRB Junior World Championship
Ruddock remains loyal to the team that overcame England in their last outing.
Ireland’s win over the English puts them in a position to finish in fifth position overall in the tournament, which will have a bearing in the next competition when it comes to what teams are placed in various pools. It would also be Ireland’s best ever finish as an Under 20 competition.
Speaking ahead of clash, Ruddock said: “We are expecting another tough game against France. Particularly as we defeated them in the Six Nations earlier in the year, they will be gunning for revenge. We have done our homework and hopefully our legs will carry us through another important victory.”
The teams play at Newlands Stadium, Cape Town tomorrow KO:1.15pm
