Cork Constitution 17-17 Shannon:Shannon had to dig deep to take a share of the spoils away to Cork Constitution at Temple Hill this afternoon.
The home side appeared to have the game tied up as they went into a seemingly unassailable 17-0 lead. Converted tried from Diarmuid O'Riordan and Cronan Healy plus a penalty at the end of the first half were the source of Con's points tally.
However, Shannon rallied with a late effort with Tadgh Bennett putting the first points on the board with a penalty. A penalty try followed before Sean Cronin crossed the line in the dying seconds and Andrew Thompson made the all-important conversion for the sides to finish level 17-17.
Elsewhere in Division One Dolphin beat St Mary's College 19-13 at Musgrave Park.
In Division Two Young Munster were too strong for Old Crescent as they ran out comfortable 22-3 winners while Nenagh Ormond beat Old Wesley 13-6 in the day's only Division Three fixture.
