Ulster have made two changes from the side that lost to Connacht on Saturday ahead of their Celtic League clash with Glasgow at Ravenhill this weekend.
Winger Paul Steinmetz misses out with a leg injury sustained at the Sportsground and is replaced by James Topping.
In the front row Bryan Young replaces loosehead prop Justin Fitzpatrick.
Backrow Matt McCullough again misses out through injury.
Meanwhile, Rob Kearney and Brian O’Driscoll have been included in the Leinster squad to face Llanelli Scarlets in Stradey Park on Saturday.
Winger Kearney missed last weekend’s win over Munster with a back strain, while O’Driscoll was forced to leave the pitch with what many thought to be a recurrence of the shoulder injury picked up on the Lions Tour.
The captain suffered no further damage however and is labouring only through a lack of match fitness.
Speaking today coach Michael Cheika said the Scarlets are the best side in Wales at the moment and called on his players to show the same hunger that brought them the win over Munster.
"Llanelli are probably the strongest Welsh side at the moment. They possess a lot of pace in their backline and they’re on a strong run of form in Stradey (Park), so it’s vital that we build on what we’ve been doing over the last few weeks.
"The most pleasing aspect of our win over Munster was our hunger and how, when we went down to 14 men, we didn’t simply shut down shop," said Cheika. "Everyone took on an extra sense of urgency. We’ve put in a lot of work on mauling play in both defence and attack.
"I don’t think that we’re an in-disciplined side. When you play like we do we’re in the view of the officials more.
"I’m a big believer in playing in a consistent manner and we need to find a bit more continuity wise. Resting players isn’t really our style so we’ll be looking to field a strong team."
