The Ulster recruitment drive under coach Matt Williams continues in earnest with news that the province has signed South Africa's Robbie Diack and Leinster's Cillian Willis.

Earlier this week Clinton Schifcofske and Ed O'Donoghue from the Queensland Reds signed two-year deals and will join up with the squad for pre-season training in July.

Scrumhalf Willis has signed on a one-year deal and the 23-year-old has already featured for Ireland A and represented his country at under-19 and under-20 level.

The move north provides Willis the opportunity to shine in his own right away from the shadows of cousin and Leinster captain Brian O'Driscoll.

"I'm really delighted to be joining Ulster Rugby, it is an exciting time for the province with a young squad and new coach and I'm looking forward to being part of it next season," said Willis.

"Ulster has some of the most loyal supporters and they have made Ravenhill a very intimidating place to play, it will be good to experience that atmosphere at the ground and this time be on the right side of it."

Diack broke onto the scene in 2006 and standing at six feet six inches tall, the big number eight is sure to bring a physical presence to Williams' side.

"Robbie has made a really big impact for the Stormers and is definitely coming into the best form of his career. He will add some real strength to the backrow and is an explosive and smart player," said the coach.
