Rugby:Veteran Ireland international David Wallace has been named in the Munster squad for the first time this season ahead of the rearranged Pro 12 meeting with Aironi in Parma.

The flanker has not played since sustaining a serious knee injury when being tackled by Manu Tuilagi in the World cup warm-up against England in Dublin last AUgust.

Also included in the squad are Simon Zebo and Denis Hurley, but Dave Foley, who dislocated a shoulder on Saturday in Newport is omitted and will see a specialist on Monday.

Wallace's season has been spent in recovery but the hard work appears to have paid off and the he now looks set to make his 195th appearanace for the province on Sunday.

Stand-in skipper Mick O’Driscoll, who became the eighth Munster player to reach 200 appearances in the 24-14 win over the Dragons at the weekend, says it is a "great boost" to have such a "class player" back in the squad.
