Team News: Ulster caretaker coach Steve Williams and his Connacht counterpart Michael Bradley have both made two changes in personnel ahead of their respective Magners Celtic League clashes tomorrow night.
Ulster take on Edinburgh at Ravenhill in the hope of building on last weekend's 30-13 win away to Connacht and resurrect what has been a poor season up to this point.
Scottish International Rob Dewey will line out against his former club as he replaces Paul Steinmetz at inside centre.
"Rob (Dewey) is a powerful player and has trained well this week, I know that he's looking forward to running out at Ravenhill against his old club," said Williams.
David Pollock will start in the backrow alongside Neil Best and Roger Wilson with Kieron Dawson acting as cover on the bench. The powerful back rower made his first Heineken Cup appearance less than two weeks ago against Bourgoin and is looking forward to running out at Ravenhill,
"Ulster fans are very vocal so no matter how many people come along to watch they always make their presence felt, which is why it's such a pleasure to play at Ravenhill because it has such a special atmosphere,"said the 20-year-old..
Williams was in doubt Pollock had earned his place in the starting XV. "After coming off the bench the last two games David deserves the start, it's important to freshen things up and to share the workload."
Bradley's two changes ahead of their home tie against Glasgow sees Andy Dunne starting for the first time, while Conor O'Loughlin comes in to partner him in the half back positions.
David Gannon and John Fogarty have both been passed fit and are named on the bench alongside Matt Mostyn, who has overcome ankle and calf injuries.
This will be Connacht's final Magners League home game before the New Year and Bradley is keen to return to winning ways.
"We are frustrated by our own lack of success in the Ulster match, but that was our first loss at home this season and we want to put the record straight," the coach said. "We're aware that Glasgow are playing good rugby, but the fact we are at home is a big factor in our favour."
Meanwhile Scotland hooker Dougie Hall, who missed the World Cup through injury, has been named on the bench for the visit to the Sportsground.
Hall, 27, rejoined Glasgow from Edinburgh during the summer but then tore the medial ligament in his left knee during a Scotland squad session in late July, the injury which forced him out of the World Cup.
The Warriors have won the last three encounters between the two sides, including earlier this season at Firhill.
