Rugby:Leinster prop Stan Wright felt no side effects from his substitute appearance against Cardiff Blues at the weekend and will train with the squad ahead of Friday night's Magners League clash against Benetton Treviso at the RDS (KO: 7.10pm).
The Cook Islander prop got a vital 20 minutes under his belt following a five-month Achilles injury and has emerged unscathed to bolster the province’s frontrow options.
With no new injury concerns to contend with, Joe Schmidt is also hopeful that wingers Shane Horgan and Dave Kearney can shake of injuries before Friday.
Kearney’s “minor niggle” is of less concern than the Meathman’s knee injury, sustained against Racing Metro-92 last month.
They will, however, have to cope without Scotland lock Nathan Hines and a number of Ireland internationals, including Rhys Ruddock, who was called up to Declan Kidney’s panel this afternoon.
The latter is expected to be back in the Leinster camp later in the week.
Long-term absentee Rob Kearney is off crutches and back in the pool as he continues his recovery from a knee injury. The Ireland fullback underwent surgery last week and it is hoped he will be back in action within a month.
Meanwhile, it has emerged Leicester have returned 4,500 tickets, one third of their allocation, for the Heineken Cup quarter-final against Leinster at the Aviva Stadium on April 9th.
The tickets will be reallocated to fans here and all, bar a small portion reserved for sale at the Treviso game, will go on sale on www.leinsterrugby.ie from tomorrow morning.
Season tickt holders or members can avail of this service from 9am, while tickets will be made available to the general public from 10am.
