How they got here: Runners-up in Ireland's group thanks to their flawless home record where they averaged just under four goals a game. Sneaked past Wales in the play-offs thanks to a solitary goal by Vadim Yevseyev.

Manager: Georgi Yartsev

Star turn: A relative newcomer to the side, 24-year-old Dimitri Bulykine looks a capable finisher both on the ground and in the air. He needs to make an impact here if the Russians are to upset one of the group's more fancied sides.

Prospects: Defensively continue to look vulnerable and difficult to see how they are going to get past the Spaniards and Portuguese without conceding goals. Good on the break, though, and one decent result would mean a chance of progressing if they can beat Greece in their final game.
