Scotland - 2 Iceland - 1 A relieved Berti Vogts hailed his side on Saturday after they recorded their first competitive win at Hampden Park since his tenure started.
"I am very pleased with my team," said the Scotland manager. "We started very well."
Iceland manager Atli Edvaldsson was furious that his side were denied a penalty when an indirect free kick was awarded instead. "When you push someone in the penalty box, you should give a penalty," he said.
