Adam Scott's victory in the Houston Open has moved the Australian back to third in the official world rankings. Scott carded a final-round 66 for a three-stroke victory over compatriot Stuart Appleby who is 19th in the standings.
Spain's Pablo Martin, who became the first amateur to win on the European Tour with a one-shot victory in the Portuguese Open, jumps to 280th after previously being unranked.
Padraig Harrington remains in the top ten after his 24th-placed finish in Houston while Darren Clarke and Paul McGinley remain outside the top 50 at 63rd and 97th respectively.
