"The one thing that struck me above all other sporting moments was the disqualification of Jane Saville in the women's walk in Sydney. I know she was disqualified fairly by all accounts but, my God, that has to be the harshest call of all time. I know it isn't a highlight in the truest sense but it had the strongest resonance for me. My fondest memories within Irish basketball revolved around the Cup finals last January. Both the men's and women's finals were classics in the sense that they went down to the last few seconds. But I think the moment for me was Eric Blair's jump-shot in the last seconds of the men's game which won the Cup for Notre Dame against St Vincent's."
