SENTOSA STAR, who did not have a hard race when winning Monday's Heineken Handicap, reappears in today's Dawn Milk Handicap with a mandatory 5lb penalty. However, trainer Michael Hourigan's 15 year old son Paul is worth every bit of his 8lb claim, and this improving horse should be capable of giving 5lb to the three year old Woodren, successful recently in a maiden at Roscoinmon.

Sentosa Star's prime objective is Galway's G.P.T. Amateur Handicap, in which he will be ridden by Paul Moloney. He has come on by leaps and bounds since winning an apprentice maiden at Thurles less than a month ago and before that his bumper by 10 lengths at Tralee.

Michael Hourigan could initiate a double with Vain Princess in the Kerry Spring Water Handicap Hurdle. In winning her maiden hurdle at Gowran Park recently, Vain Princess relegated Miss Bertaine to third place, nearly 11 lengths adrift. Force Thirteen won her maiden hurdle at Thurles, but the choice is the more experienced Dangerous Reef, fifth behind Difficult Times in a handicap hurdle at Dundalk and previously third to Official Portrait and Tommy Paud at Clonmel.

Taklil, who divided Layik and L'Opera in a closely contest women's race at the Curragh, will be hard to beat in the Dawn Fresh Orange Juice Maiden, though I expect a good showing from the Dermot Weld trained Enfant Prodige, runner up to Wing Partner on her debut at Dundalk.

Mascot won a handicap hurdle at Sligo and may follow up in the Evening Echo Handicap Hurdle. This is a moderate but open race. The Killarney Racegoers Fiat Race could be a lively betting medium. The Willie Mullins trained Celio Lucy had subsequent winner Ox Eye Daisy behind when winning at Wexford but may not beat Roll Over, a close up third behind Erramore at Tipperary, having won readily at Tramore from Major Gale.
