European Club Draws: Shelbourne, Bohemians and Longford Town all reacted positively to their UEFA club competition qualifying-round draws made in Switzerland yesterday.

League champions Shelbourne meet Icelandic side KR Reykjavik in the Champions League. Bohemians face Estonian side Levadia Tallinn, a team they beat in the Champions League three years ago, in the UEFA Cup. FAI Cup holders Longford meet FC Vaduz of Liechtenstein, also in the UEFA Cup. All three Irish sides are drawn away in the first legs.

Shelbourne travel to Reykjavik on July 14th; the return is at Tolka Park seven days later. The UEFA Cup ties will be played on July 15th and 29th.

However, because Longford hope to use Dalymount Park for their home games in Europe, as Flancare Park didn't meet UEFA criteria, they are likely to have to play at home first.

The 25 winners from the first qualifying round will be joined by a further 39 clubs in the second qualifying round.

Meanwhile Cork City defend a 3-1 lead from the first leg of their InterToto Cup first-round tie with Malmo FF in Sweden tomorrow evening.

City have no major injury concerns. Malmo have former top international Patrick Andersson fit again and ready to play.

At home in the Premier Division of the National League tonight, Longford Town are without suspended captain Barry Ferguson, sent off in Derry last Saturday, for the visit of Drogheda United, who welcome back midfielder Barry Molloy.
