JASON SHERLOCK (UCD) may be drafted in to appear in the National League under-23 team against Everton at Dalymount Park on Friday evening (8.0) in a testimonial for Shamrock Rovers assistant manager Terry Eviston.

Irish manager Mick McCarthy will make a guest appearance for the local side which he will manage for the night but the search is on for a couple of replacement players for his team because of the involvement of Brian Morrisroe and Tony Sheridan in Sunday's FAI Cup final replay.

Everton will be without the injured Duncan Ferguson but apart from that Joe Royle's squad will be at full strength.

Tickets for the match, which is likely to mark Everton's last day as holders of the FA Cup, cost Pounds 6 and Pounds 5 with children's tickets costing Pounds 3. They are available from Shamrock Rovers at 11 York Road, Ringsend, Home Farm and at the ground on the night.
