UNDER-21 CONNACHT SEMI-FINALS/Roscommon 2-9 Mayo 1-11:ROSCOMMON GAINED a sensational last-gasp win at Hyde Park yesterday. A point by Donie Shine five minutes into injury-time gave 14-man Roscommon victory.

Roscommon looked to have clinched victory when centre back Niall Daly put them a point ahead in the last minute of normal time.

But Mayo’s Kevin McLoughlin equalised in injury-time.

Earlier a clever 30th-minute goal from Niall Kilroy helped Roscommon lead by a point at the interval. A goal from Roscommon’s Brian Murtagh which was quickly cancelled out by Mayo’s Alan Freeman within seconds midway through the second half helped set up a frantic finale.
