SHINTY: With the international football commanding a lot of attention this week, the GAA has announced details of its other international outlet, the hurling-shinty games at senior and under-21 levels both of which are being played this weekend.

The senior match will be played in Croke Park as a curtain-raiser to the second Test in the International Rules series between Ireland and Australia. The throw-in is at 1.15 p.m. The under-21 game takes place in Portlaoise on Saturday at 2.0 p.m.
