Running plans for Henry Cecil's two Coral-Eclipse Stakes hopefuls Beat Hollow and Shiva remain undecided after the duo worked at Newmarket yesterday morning. But heavy overnight rain has increased the chances of Shiva being in the field for the Group One contest at today's final declaration stage.

Connections had warned that the five-year-old would miss the Sandown contest if the ground was faster than good. But Alan Cooper, racing manager to owners the Niarchos family, said: "She worked well, Mr Cecil was very pleased.

"Obviously there has been rain at Sandown and the ground is going in her favour. "We will make a decision with Mr Cecil in due course in the morning."
