Former international number eight Ben Cronin is out of the Garryowen team to play Cork Constitution in Saturday's AIB League Division One game at Dooradoyle. Cronin damaged a shoulder in the defeat by St Mary's College and could be out for a fortnight. Paul Hogan moves to the back row.
Meanwhile coach Declan Kidney has selected the Ireland Under-19 team to play Italy in Treviso on Saturday week. Included in the team, interestingly at centre, is last season's Irish Schools fullback, Gordon D'Arcy. Garryowen out-half Jeremy Staunton is not available for the Italian match but should make the World Under 19 Championships which take place in Wales from March 26th to April 4th.
