MUNSTER will field a much changed team from the one that defeated Ulster last weekend in the final game of the Interprovincial series, when they face Milan at Musgrave Park tomorrow (kick off 3.0 p.m.).
The selectors have made six changes in all, five in personnel, in the starting team for their inaugural match in the European Cup against the Italian club.
English club Saracens have released Richard Wallace and he comes in for Sunday's Well right wing Sean McCahill. McCahill moves into left centre for Young Munster's Mick Lynch.
The two props have also been changed, with John Fitzgerald coming in at loose head for Ian Murray and Paul McCarthy taking the place of Shannon's injured Noel Healy at tight head. Healy was replaced by McCarthy in last week's match buts keeps a spot in the replacements.
In the second row Gabriel Fulcher, inviting the wrath of his club London Irish in deciding to play for the province, arrives in for Old Crescent's Len Dineen. Dineen goes into the replacements while Old Crescent's Liam Tolan comes in as flanker for Ben Cronin. Cronin makes a move to the number eight position for the injured Eddie Halvey.
Halvey, David Corkery and Paul Cunningham were not considered for selection because of injury.
David Humphreys and Jeremy Davidson, two of the five Irish London players who opted to play for their provinces in the European Cup, are included in the Ulster team to meet Caledonia in Perth on Sunday.
International second row Paddy Johns, who was released by his club Saracens, is also in the team which shows five changes from the side that lost to Munster International centre Maurice Field, fit again after a foot injury, comes into the centre for the injured Mark McCall. Humphreys is at outside half instead of Stuart Lang. There are three changes in the pack with Johns and Davidson forming the second row instead of Gary Longwell and Alan Robinson, while Gary Leslie is recalled at prop in place of Clem Boyd.
