Williams won five Test caps for Wales over two seasons after making his international debut against Scotland at the Cardiff Arms Park in 1990. Williams is survived by his wife, Gwen, and their two daughters.

ITALY:Italy coach Pierre Berbizier has made seven changes to his starting line-up for Saturday's match against England at Twickenham. Alessandro Troncon gets his first Six Nations start for nearly two years, extending his record to 92 caps.

ENGLAND:Flanker Lewis Moody (28) who has 44 caps, has been ruled out of England's Six Nations campaign following shoulder surgery, the Rugby Football Union (RFU) said yesterday. Moody was originally named on the bench for last week's opening game against Scotland but withdrew from the squad and was replaced by Tom Rees.
