The course got 14mms of rain yesterday but the threat of further overnight rain has resulted in an inspection being called. The track was raceable yesterday evening.

Slaney Rock can provide the Jim Bolger-Kevin Manning team with a confidence boost ahead of Finsceal Beo's Coronation Stakes bid tomorrow when he lines up for the juvenile maiden.

Finsceal Beo will have 12 opponents against her at Royal Ascot as she tries for a fourth Group One victory against some old rivals such as Darjina and Arch Swing. The latter represents John Oxx but Finsceal Beo will have to reverse form with Darjina from France last month when a narrow defeat denied the Irish star a unique classic triple crown.
