Bray W 1 Sligo R 3:BRAY WANDERERS stay firmly rooted to the bottom of the table after goals from Pádraig Amond, Matthew Blinkhorn and Romuald Boco gave 10-man Sligo Rovers a fully deserved victory at the Carlisle Grounds last night.
The Connacht men had to play with a numerical disadvantage after midfielder Richie Ryan was sent off for a foul on Bray striker John Mulroy on 28 minutes.
Sligo had the perfect start when a Gary McCabe cross from the left on 10 minutes was powerfully headed home from 10 yards by striker Amond.
A back pass by Foran to goalkeeper John Gibson led to Bray getting level on 52 minutes. In attempting a clearance Gibson kicked the ball into the path of Jake Kelly and the striker fired into the unguarded net.
From another corner on the right by Ndo, substitute Matthew Blinkhorn headed home firmly into the corner of the net in the 60th minute. Boco secured victory with a perfect goal on 83 minutes when he ran through the Bray defence before calmly lobbing advancing keeper Gregg.
