Instilling further confidence with another three points on their travels is the goal for Sligo Rovers at Bray Wanderers tonight ahead of the visit of champions Cork City to the Showgrounds on Saturday.

"I have great aspirations for this football club and . . . this set of players," said manager Seán Connor after they came from behind to win 2-1 in Waterford on Friday, a victory that moved them to fifth in the table.

"It was a five-hour trip, but we came down the night before and prepared the right way.

"We are going to Bray with lots and lots of confidence. If we can get a win in Bray then, I tell you what, Cork City won't fancy coming to the Showgrounds."
